Why does this always happen to me?
I guess it's a good thing I've brought my laptop -- now I can see things by the monitor!

A few minutes ago I heard a crashing noise near the middle of the room. I tried to ignore it, but it was just too scary to think that someone (or something!) was in here with me! So I took my flashlight and started investigating. It took a while to get here, this place is full of the most ancient looking stuff! Anyways, I finally found a place where a ton of plasma guns were knocked over and lying any which way on the floor, and my flashlight batteries died!! Now I'm going to have to use the computer to get back. . .it's a good thing I have it, or I'd be stuck here all night!

Wait a nano. . .why is the screen slowly fading?

Dear me! We aren't afraid of the dark now are we Mr. big brave Guardian? >:)

You know, it is quite possible, judging from the evidence, that you are not entirely as alone in the War Room as you thought. You might want to keep an eye open for glowing eyes just beyond the light from your fading computer screen. Gremlins are known to dwell in places long disused. I ought to know after all. The ones I employ share the same tendencies.
